American Agenda

Mission and Ministry Plan

Purpose

The United States of America agenda exists to promote unity of the Church.

Implementation Objectives

  • Relational ties to the three streams of the Campbell-Stone Movement
  • The celebration of the unity of the church
  • Publicizing the activities of the society
  • Dissemination of the results of research
  • Presentation of a witness at conferences and conventions
  • Witnessing to individuals and congregations
  • Developing partnerships with individuals and congregations

Three Year Plan

  • Participate in understanding and in realizing of the existing church
  • Increase visibility of EES scholars and institute(s)
  • Develop programs and publicity, which present EES to its various constituencies in a positive and meaningful way
  • Attest to the wholeness of the Campbell-Stone Movement
  • Make documents reflect reorganized structure of EES in accord with strategic plan
  • Establish ecumenical contacts and develop fraternal relations with other congregations, scholars, institutes, educational institutions, and mission agencies.

Annual Plan

  • Travel and publicity by Executive Director
  • Develop promotional support of scholars
  • Organize the Board of Directors to accommodate the new strategic plan
  • Conduct formal biennial review of Institute personnel
  • Conduct formal evaluation of personnel in USA office
  • Conduct formal evaluations of pastor/evangelist
  • Attest to the wholeness of the Campbell-Stone movement. Develop appropriate promotional material.
  • Make contact with additional churches
  • Make contact with potential donors
