Who We Are For nearly 60 years, beginning with the ministry of Earl and OttieMearl Stuckenbruck, the European Evangelistic Society has been an international witness to the Christian gospel. Much like Paul and his visit to Athens, we have borne witness to our faith in a challenging community. Luke's comments in Acts 17 at the end of Paul's visit continue to motivate us. Some in Athens said, "we will hear you again," and still others, including some prominent women, became believers. In the spirit of "being heard again," we continue to be God's witnesses. For more information or to contact our offices please click here.

Mission and Vision The mission of the European Evangelistic Society is unique. We exist in order to study, disseminate, and demonstrate the gospel, primarily, but not exclusively in Europe. Centered in Tübingen, Germany, EES is actively involved in research at The Institute for the Study of Christian Origins and actively involved in planning for campus ministry and church planting . This mission expresses itself in three primary areas of ministry:

  • to support scholarly research in Christian origins,
  • to undertake the publication of such research, and
  • to encourage the establishment and development of congregations reflecting an understanding of the early church.
