Mr. Samuel W. Huxford, Executive Director

Wye Huxford became Executive Director of The European Evangelistic Society on June 1, 2003, succeeding James L. Evans who had served in that capacity for twenty-one years. Wye was married to Vicki Kindt in August 1973. They have two children, Sarah and Bethany. Bethany is married to Chad Davis and serves as associate director for EES. Sarah is director of communications at Atlanta Christian College.

Both Wye and Vicki are graduates of Atlanta Christian College, with degrees in ministry and music respectively. They are also both graduates of Cincinnati Christian Seminary. Wye’s degree is in New Testament and Theology and Vicki’s degree is in music. For 30 years, Wye has been a part of the faculty of Atlanta Christian College and is currently serving as vice president for student development and dean of the chapel. He came to EES after a twenty year ministry at First Christian Church of Tyrone. He has also traveled extensively for Seminary of the Nations, teaching national preachers in a variety of world settings.

Dr. T. Scott Caulley, Institute Director

Scott Caulley became the Director of the Institute for the Study of Christian Origins in August of 2002. Scott grew up in Oregon, Washington, and California, where his father ministered in Christian churches. In 1972, while a student Puget Sound Christian College, Scott married Cherie Zook of Tacoma, Washington. He graduated from Puget Sound Christian College in 1974, cum laude. He earned a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1976. In 1978, Scott and Cherie moved to Tübingen for doctoral studies at the University. In 1983, he graduated with a Ph.D. in New Testament. Scott and Cherie have two children, Alisha, who was just three months old when they moved to Germany for studies and Justin, who was born in Stuttgart. Scott was serving as head of the Bible/Theology department at Manhattan Christian College when he was called to serve as Director of the Institute for the Study of Christian Origins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mrs. Bethany Huxford Davis, Associate Director

Bethany Huxford Davis became associate director of the European Evangelistic Society in summer 2006 after serving as office manager for three years. Her responsibilities include donor relations, public relations, account management and administrative management.

Bethany is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in sociology. She also attended Atlanta Christian College. She lives in Newnan, Ga., with her husband Chad and their dog, Bear. Chad and Bethany are active members at Southwest Christian Church in East Point, Ga., where Bethany serves on the women’s ministry. They also enjoy spending weekends touring the Southeast in their camper.
